Alternate Power & Energy (AP&E) launched as a means of offering commercial business owners and municipalities the opportunity to have access to utility cost savings. Through a Power Purchase Agreement or PPA, our clients are able to own a solar photovoltaic system with absolutely no out-of-pocket expense. The Energy Sales Division of AP&E can help property owners in Massachusetts experience reduced energy costs that are below market rates and dedicated, quality customer service.
Recently, AP&E completed one of the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic system installations in the State of Massachusetts that featured over 6,600 solar modules. This Power Purchase Agreement helped our client to achieve electrical utility cost savings, gain access to a guaranteed priced control and allowed them to lock into predictability for future electrical energy needs.
A commercial PPA in Massachusetts through AP&E works by the organization entering into a financial agreement which allows the roof or ground space of the business or municipality to be leased for use with a solar photovoltaic system. The Power Purchase Agreement allows AP&E to install, own and maintain the solar energy system and then sell the solar electricity that is generated from the project back to the business or municipality at a reduced rate.
Alternate Power & Energy is owned by the founder of Rhode Island Novelty (RINCO). Located in Southeastern Massachusetts, in the city of Fall River, RINCO is the nation’s leading importer, wholesale distributor and supplier of novelty toys, giftware, stationary and other products. Launched in 1986, the knowledgeable and experienced staff has helped RINCO to become the top choice for price, product and performance nationwide.
